Geothermal Energy Training Course

Geothermal energy is created by using the heat from Earth. Geothermal is renewable and clean. It is being used all over the world and while obvious areas such as those with hot springs are the common locations we are learning to use this energy source in a more diverse way since it is available everywhere on the planet. The Earth's interior continually produces heat and for this reason it is considered a renewable energy source. The estimate is that the Earth has somwhere around the equivalent of 42 million megawatts of power from this source of energy.

Geothermal Energy is one of the many fast growing renewable forms of energy. This is made very apparent with the large number of new geothermal projects that are in planning phases for the west coast of the United States, California, Nevada, Utah and Oregon all have new projects planned and many underway already. California alone has a total of 21 projects under development and Oregon another 11 projects, not only brining an estimated 1059 MW of electricity and many new jobs will be required in the contstruction and maintenance of these locations.
